QUESTION 1:

Read Psalm 43 together. How is the state of man described in the first two verses? Where have you seen sin in your own life over the last week?

QUESTION 2:

In verse 3 the Psalmist cries out to God to "Send out your light and your truth." How does God do this in scripture, both for the corporate people and the individual?

QUESTION 3:

The next line says "Let them lead me." How are we as the people of God led by the truth of God and where does that truth lead to? Share a time where God's truth has led to "exceeding joy" in your heart.

QUESTION 4:

To wrap up, the Psalmist speaks to his own soul. In our peculiar time and culture, what truth of God does your soul need to hear?

Share these with each other because it is likely yours is not the only soul needing to hear the truth.

QUESTION 5:

As we conclude our sermon series on the attributes of God, share something about God that you have either learned or remembered during the last two months. Finally, take some time together to pray through the attributes of God, his being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness and truth.
